Pigou or what?
David Masten writes No to Pigou!
He notes many real problems withPigouvian taxes. Like the NoPigou Club he fails to address the real and far worse alternatives to Pigouvian taxes: regulatory and prohibitionist approaches to externalities and taxation of productive labor and capital.
